Our bird cam today reviled the newest arrivals in our Blue Tit box as the first two of the eggs hatched. Blind, bald and helpless the new arrivals seem to be doing well, as the children watch Dad maintained a yummy supply of squishy caterpillars and grubs in our very own version of Spring Watch.
Thank you for all those who turned out to help with our Spring Big Dig, it turned out to be a fabulously productive day in which you achieved so much for the children. The natural fence will provide a valuable wind brake offering protection for the gardens behind as well as forming an intrinsic part of our wildlife corridor. Without such help, enthusiasm and hard work we would never be able to create such a fantastic learning environment for the children. Thank you all for your enthusiastic support, sorry for the blisters.
Please don’t forget tomorrows Big Dig.
If you can spend any time please come along, even if it is just for a chat and to see what the children have achieved in the school grounds. The gates will be open from 9:30am to 3:00pm.
Hope to see you there.
